Professor Emeritus, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)
Fellow, British Computer Society | Fellow, Malaysian Scientific Association

 

A pioneer in Malaysia’s ICT landscape, Prof. Dato’ Ts. Dr. Tengku Mohd Tengku Sembok has made enduring contributions to AI, Natural Language Processing, and Information Retrieval. Currently a Professor at IIUM and Professor Emeritus at UKM, he has shaped digital education through decades of academic leadership, research, and policy engagement.

 

As the former Deputy Vice Chancellor and Cybersecurity Centre Director at the National Defence University Malaysia, he was instrumental in building the nation’s academic infrastructure in cybersecurity. With global academic roots and local impact, his legacy continues to inspire innovation grounded in ethical and inclusive advancement.
