A pioneer in Malaysiaโs ICT landscape, Prof. Datoโ Ts. Dr. Tengku Mohd Tengku Sembok has made enduring contributions to AI, Natural Language Processing, and Information Retrieval. Currently a Professor at IIUM and Professor Emeritus at UKM, he has shaped digital education through decades of academic leadership, research, and policy engagement.
As the former Deputy Vice Chancellor and Cybersecurity Centre Director at the National Defence University Malaysia, he was instrumental in building the nationโs academic infrastructure in cybersecurity. With global academic roots and local impact, his legacy continues to inspire innovation grounded in ethical and inclusive advancement.
